As we move into the accumulation season for glaciers, we at OGI reflect back on an epic year of research that was made possible by your accumulated support. Conducting the first field survey of Mt. Hood's glaciers in 20 years, collecting boulder samples from moraines that will reconstruct Oregon Cascade glacier history back 20,000 years, continuing our glacier health monitoring, and beginning to grapple with when did glaciers disappear from Wallowa Mountains.
