Eliot Glacier

Eliot is a large glacier flowing on the northeast side of Mt. Hood. The U.S.G.S. did not accurately map the upper reaches of the glacier and thus its 1950s headwall is too low in elevation. The glacier had a debris covered terminus, which has now stagnated greatly reducing the glacier's area.
