Carver Glacier
Carver glacier is the middle part of the glacier complex called Carver on the north side of South Sister. At one point these three glaciers were one glacier, but by the U.S.G.S. mapping in the 1950s, Carver had separated in to three glaciers, yet only one name was put on the map. Carver Glacier is still active but often lacks an accumulation zone and will stagnate and disappear in the near future.
